## Writing

-   Every guide is written for people in India and uses rupee examples.
-   Tax rules, rates and deadlines come from primary sources where we can.
-   We don't copy other sites. Our explanations and examples are our own.

## Checking

-   Every guide shows when it was last updated.
-   When a chartered accountant has reviewed a guide, we say who and when.

## Keeping it fresh

Rates and deadlines live in one shared file, and we refresh it after each Union Budget and at the start of every filing season.
